Natalia Batista
is a Swedish manga artist, with Portuguese and Polish descent.
She started making manga professionally in 2006 online and in magazines in Sweden.
Her debut was with a kids manga called “Mjau!” (Kabusa Books, Sweden 2010)
followed by her Boys Love manga “Ein Lied für Elise” (Tokyopop, Germany 2010),
which is avaliable in English at asongforelise.smackjeeves.com.
In 2011-2012, she illustrated childrens books in Sweden.
Her gender-flipped fantasy manga “Sword Princess Amaltea”
was published in Sweden between 2013-2015 and in the Italian online
manga magazine Doraetos Manga since 2014,
as well as online in English at
www.SwordPrincessAmaltea.com.
